I have the same problem using winxp. Device doesn't show up in the system Manager, and red banner on Maxilink stays red. From searching google appears that many folks have had this issue, but I couldn't find a solution. Steve

    Hello,
    I have the same problem.
    What can I do?
What do you mean: check the serial number?
    Sincerely.

there are a lot of MS509 sold which are a fraud and do not have a USB connector chip inside.

There is a post here (use Search) where the serial number is noted.
If you have such a serial number it is most likely a fraud.
